Cambria Hotel Phoenix Chandler - Fashion Center

The hotel was clean and well maintained with good amenities. Very nice big bed with soft sheets. I recommend the mountain view. There were some things not working. The mini fridge in my room was not functional so some food spoiled. There were also no robes provided. The problems were not brought to the attention of the staff as it was a quick visit and not a priority to have the issue fixed, but every staff member I interacted with was helpful and attentive so I don't doubt the issue would have been seen to. I would stay here again.

The room and location were great. However, the service of the front desk “manager” was atrocious. I spent an hour on the phone the night before confirming reservation details and ensuring I could pay for it all in my card - the room was for my best friend who is going through a lot and needed a night away. On the phone I was guaranteed she wouldn’t have to present her card, that everything would be charged to mine. However, when she arrived for check in, the front desk “manager” refused to check her in without her card. My friend called me, put her on the phone with me, and she was incredibly rude, saying “That’s not the way we conduct business.” Ok, then why did your reservation manager tell me you could? I was very pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. We actually chose this hotel because it's eight minute drive to the true rest soaking spa that we like to attend. The price was great. The room was amazing.The bed was so comfortable and the sheets felt like butter. Nice and spacious clean and well organized. If I had to say one improvement, it would be the shower pan needed attention. We will definitely be coming back. This might be one of our new favorites.

Wife and I were visiting family in the area for a few days and even though we have status with Marriott and Hilton and rarely stray from them we picked this place due to the location and having walkable dining and shopping. The area around the hotel seemed very safe, never saw a single homeless person, anything or anyone suspicious. We got an upgrade on the rental car at the airport and parked the rented Maserati in their free parking lot, no issues, so I would have been comfortable if we had our less exotic car in that same lot. Loved the Italian restaurant next door, but there were other places to eat that were walkable as well, we just didn't have the time . Target/CVS across one street, costco a block away and a mall across the other street. We had a mini suite, very nice and spacious,

I really enjoyed my stay and the accommodations were great. I really enjoyed the personality of your employee, (I believe) Christie. She was immensely understanding, resourceful, sympathetic and did not hesitate to include herself in my problem with lost wallet and no identification and change of payment. She should be paid more and given more responsibility. Take note of her. She was working on the morning of Saturday the 21 of November and again on the morning or the 23. She is a wonderfully personable and competent individual; I hope the organization recognizes that in her.
