Rodeway Inn Meadowlands

One of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. My friend and i have bedbug bites all over our bodies. We didn’t see any roaches but they were definitely there. The place was dirty and gross, dust and debris everywhere. We places our no room service card in front only to find out they still went in and randomly replaced one of the beds. The room key card also didn’t work half the time. We kept on having to go down (with the slowest elevator) to reconfigure the card. There were also no stairs available so i wouldn’t know what would happen if the elevator broke down. The hotel is also located in a really weird place. To reach the lovely town you need to walk through multiple parking lots and behind stores. Completely inaccessible for people with luggage wheelchairs or anything heavy. Th

Bed bugs.|I didn't see them, but I feel them. I am completely covered feet to neck. Like over fifty bites, at least.||It was dirty and stank, but I honestly didn't mind as I was relieved not to see any bugs. I guess I spoke too soon, because only when I got home I noticed that the itchiness I felt was bed bug bites. That's like my worst fear ever, I had to put all my nice clothes in the dryer but I'm still paranoid thinking they could have come with me. ||The staff were odd but kinda friendly. The elevator stank, was slow and felt unsafe. There were no stairs, and u had to walk through abandoned parking lots to get into the hotel as it's basically made to be entered only for car drivers.||Though, one positive thing it was only 25 minutes away by bus from times square. I had a reservation from 11/7 to 11/10 When checking in, I asked if I would be able to get a refund for the last night if I checked out by 11/9. The person at the front desk, told me, yes, you will get a refund. At checkout, I asked for the refund and they told me to send an email. I did but didn’t get a response. I sent a second email, still no response. I called and they told me that they don’t do refunds. I called the customer service line and they told me that they are not able to help. I don’t want anyone else to go to this pain.

Worst hotel ever, if I could give -10 I would. They are SCAMMERS, we booked a night here and after checking in went to our room which was DISGUSTING there were blood stains on the sheet and other gross stuff. We went back down to the concierge who was rude and of zero help. We left the hotel without using their services and contacted our bank for a refund as the clerk wouldn’t give us one. Disgusting place, and they still charged us after we disputed the charge!!! They stated that we used their services!! We LEFT not even 10 mins after going upstairs, please provide us with the video footage where we stayed and used that freaking room. Absolutely disgusting place and people who work there.

I booked this property expecting a normal hotel experience. Instead, I arrived to find the building literally propped up on jacks and undergoing major construction, something that was not disclosed anywhere during booking. This is not a minor renovation, it feels like staying in an active structural repair zone. The elevator was barely functioning and felt unsafe to use. On top of that, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive when I asked about the situation. For the price and the brand, this was completely unacceptable. Guests deserve transparency before booking. If the building is physically supported by jacks, that’s something travelers need to know ahead of time. I do not recommend staying here until the construction and structural work are completed and the hotel can safely an
