Riverview Campground

Really I would not give it any stars! We had to go around the campground for almost an hour trying to find a campsite to park our camper. They state to ask the camp host for availability (which would have been nice) but NO camp host!!! We had a nice couple who were camping try and help us find a site. We found one right next to another camper and pulled in to get set up and those people had their camper plugged in to both electric receptacles!!! They were not there at their camper. It was hot outside and we wanted to get our camper set up! We finally just parked anywhere we wanted. We needed to use the restroom but did not have the code to the restroom as we had to get it from the host and again was not there! We had to go home to use the restroom! Thank God we don’t live far! While driving around looking for a hotel/motel that would allow pets, we arrived here. No problem you have pets? no trouble as long as they're leased, quiet, and you pick up after them. Site is $15.00 w/electricity per unit. Park has free wifi for use. I didn't get a chance to try it. Bathrooms are accessed by codes provided by camp host on site.

This was a shady beautiful park, well maintained and a joy to stay. Our kids enjoyed the playgrounds and disc golf. The showers were clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again. Lots to do for the price & its walking distance to Dairy Queen!

This is a park with a campground, playground and dog park. I was looking for a place to walk and found it to be peaceful. It was a nice Friday morning with minimal foot and bike traffic. The path is along a river which I enjoyed. Bicyclists that went by were friendly. As I was walking, I came along some interesting carvings. There is also a bell in a tower that was used when Marshalltown had a volunteer fire department.

This was a nice quiet RV campground. It did not have a dog park, so we went down the road and had to pay $2 each time we took our dog. The camp hosts were very nice. We had a Ramada close that we could use for eating if we wanted to.
