Baymont by Wyndham Marshalltown

Pool was cold and stunk like mold. Hot tub was removed. Parking lot was snow and ice covered days after snow storm. Room was clean, 1 mattress needed to be replaced. Will spend the extra and stay elsewhere next time. Staff was friendly.

Would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Front desk lady was DISCOURTEOUS, NON-ACCOMIDATING and down right RUDE! We checked into the room at 3pm. Was there for 20 minutes to change our clothes for a family wedding. Upon returning to the hotel, we wanted to hittghe hot tub and the kids wanted to swim in the pool. The hot tub was removed and plywood was layed over the hole. Even though the web site stated it had a hot tub. The pool was ICE COLD and had an oily/slimy film over it. Kids were unable to swim in the nastiness of the water. Went to the front desk and spoke with the attendent. She was very unpleaseant and told us since we had checked in over 4 hours ago there was nothing she could do for us. After I explained we had only been in our room for under 30 minutes to j

The room was very basic I got a twin queen they don’t offer bar of soap so you have to use the body wash to wash your hands. The pool room smelt like it has mold you look up in the ceiling and you can see mold the water is not even warm you can’t swim for more then a couple of minutes

This is a 2 star motel that has not been updated in a very long time. Breakfast was very basic but did have a few warm items. The bed mattress was lumpy and sinking in the middle.

Clean rooms and a great location. I really liked the suite I stayed in with the hot tub! Very friendly service also, thank you! Free breakfast was very helpful as I was in a rush on my way to a conference. I would stay here again!
