River Front Motel

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. The tv didn't work, the refrigerator was broken, the room had a moldy smell, the shower curtain had a rip in it. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed one night. When we went to the office to turn in the key the manager was on the couch asleep. When we told him the reason we were checking out early he just said okay and laid back down.

I guess if your desperate, this is a place to be. My experience has not been good. I was given a room that clearly was not serviced. The bed sheets smelled like sweat, so did the pillows. I found someone's fake lashes on my window, and drug paraphanalia between the window and screen. I've spent a full week here, and not once has my room been serviced. No toiletries, trash not taken, room not vacuumed, or the sheets changed. Again, if you're desperate, like I was, perfect place I guess. Cheapest I could find as far as weekly rates. But I will not return

Hotel needs new furniture. All the draws were missing from the dresser. Rooms needs pest control and a thorough cleaning. The toilet looks like it hasnt been cleaned in years. My husband killed about 8 flying beetle-like bugs throughout the night. We checked in 9pm on Wednesday night in room 24. Could barely sleep because some guests that apparently live there were hanging outside all times of night yelling and just being loud. It reminds me of the ghetto. The place could be very nice with a few small changes.

If desperation and hopelessness took the form of lodging, this would be it. I opted for the river view, double bed, already ransacked room. Evidently the crime scene tape was only recently taken down from this room, as a housekeeping had not yet cleaned the chalk body outlines from the firmly matted remains of what once was a nice remnant. To add to the ambiance, the furniture had a retro 80's, "I belong in a Goodwill shop" vibe. The headboard of the bed was cracked; having been given a workout by the previous several dozen occupants. I awoke at 3AM to the sound of gunfire in the parking lot; i wish the drug deal could have gone bad at 5AM to eliminate the need for my wake up call. All in all, this "Hood by the River" didn't disappoint.

HORRIBLE!!!!! Got bit up by bedbugs was only here for 1 1/2 hours and they tried to charge $30. for a short stay that's supposed to be a 3 hour limit how are you charging me for time I didn't stay because they have bugs
