Motel 6 Bordentown, NJ

The only thing good about this room was the comfy beds and the mini fridge. The bathroom was atrocious. Dirty towels, the bathtub had dirt in the bottom of it and was badly cracked where it pinched our toes. The bathroom door did not shut because the area around the door handle was damaged and the handle was just hanging there. The water smelled like sulfur and we did not feel clean after taking showers. Actually used bottled water to brush our teeth. There were multiple flies flying around the room. Crumbs on the floor and behind the night stand. Ice machine was also broken. The Male owner was extremely nice and accommodating with a few issues we had. His wife was rude.

This is by far the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. We booked two nights. Got a refund for the second night and left. I could not stand the idea of even getting under the sheets of the extremely old motel/hotel bed. I would not even let my bare feet touch the carpet. The room smelled of old cigarettes and very strong incense. I love Motel 6 and have stayed at plenty locations over my lifetime that were just great. But this... this was a disgusting flee bag of a place. I have never written a review about a motel/hotel room before. This was my first, because I don't want anyone else to have to suffer this place. The only reason we stayed one night, was because we were exhausted - and, still didn't sleep. The room was too gross to sleep. The end.

The room had a sewer smell. Rust and mildew in tub. Only one outlet to charge things. Only lights above bed worked. Checked in Friday, had no cleaning service Saturday. Unmade bed with dirty sheets, no clean towels trash full. Had to go to front desk to get towels. Did not receive an apology or we will get room cleaned. I was not happy about paying 150.0 for a room that my kids couldn't shower in and that did not care about their customer satisfaction.

This motel 6 was formerly an independent motel. While the parking lot is large and there is plenty of parking for trucks, there is also good parking for family vehicles, and it was clean, as was the building exterior. I checked in and found the manager/owner to be extremely friendly and customer oriented. He made sure I knew that there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. I found the room to be clean and in good order, just like in the pictures online. The room is dated but is clean and functional. The wall unit air conditioner/heater is a newer unit and is hung in the back wall rather than under the window. Beware! I booked a Queen non-smoking room in March for a June stay. When I checked in, price my credit card had already been charged was ~$20.00 higher than rate I had booked. First explanation from manager on duty was that my total was without tax and his was with tax. This was not true. In actuality, someone at hotel changed my reservation to a King non-smoking room without informing me since they had no Queen non-smoking rooms due to changes made at the hotel after my reservation was made. Manager refused to refund difference in price even after speaking with Motel 6 customer service. This argument went on for 30 minutes. Manager tells me he will give me a "deluxe room" with 2 double beds and I will be "very comfortable". (Keep in mind my reservation had been changed to a King
