Comfort Inn Bordentown near NJ Turnpike

Where to begin. I spent two back to back weekends at this motel and gross didn't even begin to cover it. The showers were rusted and unclean. The chair on the side of the bed on my second stay in room 203 looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. Despite being billed as a "100% smoke free room" the entire room smelled of stale cigarette smoke that had seeped into everything. The first room I had, 313, clearly the door had been broken into: the wood was splintered in each of the places where a lock was and the door itself didn't even fully cover the frame. Meanwhile in the second room the peephole in the door was missing and was instead replaced by a wad of toilet paper to I GUESS give some form of privacy. This hotel has fallen into almost disrepair. The second floor hallway had no operating air ...one unit was partially disassembled and tge curtains above it were hanging off. In tge bathroom, there were no grab bars in the tub and no "plugs" in the drains. My sink backed up each time I brushed my teeth. One bed looked as if the sheets had been changed; the other looked as if it hadn't been changed recently. Curtains in the room didn't close completely and this room backed up to an apartment complex. Dibt get me started on the hiw difficult it was to operate the TV! Breakfast offerings left much to be desired. I didn't expect a buffet breakfast but juice? Juice is common. Do not stay here. It is disgusting. The bed was dirty and had stains. The curtains were broken and dirty. Couldn’t even shut them. There was weird stains and residue all over the floor. The heater looked like there was dead bugs and mold on it. Random weird wires laying on the floor by the heater. The refrigerator was disgusting. The “jacuzzi tub” was atrocious. I knew I would need to clean it. I cleaned it 4 times and everytime more and more black stuff came out of it. I refused to let my child use it (even tho it was the only reason got the room). No tv. It couldnt connect to anything. Stains and what looks like food on the walls. ROOM 112 don’t use! Only decent part is it’s right across the street from WAWA

We stayed at this hotel entirely due to its location, easy drives from Philadelphia to , New Hope area and Brooklyn. While we frequent Comfort Inns (and Comfort Suites) generally for their consistent adequacy, spaciousness, and predictability, this facility falls low on the scale. While the room was clean and well cared for, and the AC system was quiet and affective, furnishings were sparse, television availability was meager. The building has all the signs of having possibly been an upgrade from some other hotel chain, especially wrt to the breakfast room. arguably the least appealing of any other Comfort Inn I've ever been to. To make things worse, this is also the first of the chain that has not offered any protein or yogurt at breakfast (so we had to to out to have an actual breakfast)

DO NOT BOOK HERE! BEWARE! BED BUG INFESTATION!! If I could leave a negative star review I would. I checked into the hotel with 2 small children waiting on my husband to arrive. It’s already a little unsafe in the area so my main focus was to get the kids and the room and wait on him. When he arrived he checked the beds and there was bed bug residue on all over the seams of the mattresses. There were holes in the closets doors, stains all over the sheets. It was disgusting. We went down to the front desk and requested a refund and the lady at the front desk said no cause it wasn’t her problem. Lady said that because we were there more than 15 minutes she wouldn’t refund our money. Absolutely terrible. We left with no refund. BED BUGS AREN’T THERE PROBLEM, BUT IT WILL BE PROBLEM FOR THE HEA
