Richmond Marriott Short Pump

I travel a lot and normally don't write reviews of each hotel, but the experience I had here was exceptional and so I wanted to share it. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and authentically by the front desk staff and other employees. The rooms were clean, fresh and nice. I used the facilities in the gym, bar and Club and everything was excellent. The truly exceptional thing was the quality of service. The staff clearly were committed to making me feel like a welcomed guest, not just another reservation. Thank you for a great experience and keep it up!

We stayed at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump as part of our family’s East Coast Road trip. We were on our way from Gettysburg to Colonial Williamsburg and this Marriott was a convenient stopover. The lobby was bright, airy, and pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. It looks like the entire hotel had recently been remodeled. They did a great job! Finally, their front desk staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. I have only one complaint. After going to several floors, I could not find a working ice machine. All and all, we had a pleasant stay at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump.

Positive: The professionalism of the staf. the ambiance and cleanliness of the hotel. Negative: Day service began knocking at 9am for an overnight stay. We quickly got dressed to leave so the room could be serviced. Upon return to the hotel at 10pm the room had not be serviced. I was a little disappointed by this.

This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Richmond. The location is excellent, especially being so close to Short Pump, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major highways. It makes getting around the area incredibly convenient. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service. From check-in to check-out, everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which makes each stay feel comfortable and stress-free. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. They’re spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The attention to detail throughout the hotel really stands out. I always look forward to staying here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Richmond area.
