Drury Plaza Hotel Richmond

Stayed here two nights for business and had a wonderful stay. The staff was wonderful! Carly, the GM made her rounds at breakfast chatting with guests and keeping the dining room clean. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was good. My room and the common areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming. I travel a lot for work and I’m always happy when I can find a Drury.

Positive: The staff were incredible. Really professional and friendly. The breakfast and the kickback were pretty awesome. Negative: My only cons were there was not a fan in the bathroom so the room would get humid. I would like to have seen hand sanitizing stations near the food serving areas as well.

Booked in advance of the ice storm due to the extremely high ratings, and I have to say they are absolutely well deserved. Clean rooms, I got upgraded to a King and having the sitting room plus the bedroom was fantastic. Super comfy beds, clean sheets, the 530 kickback is top tier and the food for that and regular dinner was surprisingly good. Even with the abundance of kids & pets on site because other people were also booking in anticipation, it was VERY quiet on the 5th floor. Staff is amazing, overall I was super impressed at how well they handled the sudden influx of bookings. I will absolutely be using this hotel in the future for referrals and my own weekend getaway/recharge.

Wow that was a great first stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel. I never imagined a place would give free dinner, soft drinks and cocktails as well as free breakfast the next morning. I was sort of blown away especially with today's markets of "getting less". The rooms were great. The bed was maybe one of the best hotel beds ive ever slept in. The staff was super nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in town. A+++

Everything was great! Even with the pool closed and the hot tub being more of a “warm tub” lol, I still give it 5 stars. The dinner, breakfast, fitness center and room were all amazing. Staff was also very friendly. Some hotels are clean, but it’s a not actually clean… clean, this hotel actually feels clean and looks like you’re in a cruise ship. Really enjoyed it. Also it was so quiet which was a big bonus. Side note: I stayed here again on 2/26/26 and had a issue with the room, the front desk ladies were AMAZING and solved the problem immediately. Thank you!!!
