Courtyard by Marriott Richmond North/Glen Allen

After an exhausting few days of flight delays and constant rebooking due to the snowstorm, I arrived feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained. From the moment I interacted with Ladajah at the front desk, everything shifted for the better. She was calm, composed, and genuinely kind throughout our interaction. She took the time to truly listen, offered reassurance, and went above and beyond to help make our stay as smooth as possible. We stayed here for our anniversary, and despite the stress leading up to it, she made us feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. What truly stood out was her humanity. Better than the Hilton Virginia Crossings! Most likely because it is newer or recently updated. Room cleanliness seems to be a trend in the hotel industry. The floor smelled like pot (not their fault) but the tub and the hairs seems like it was not well cleaned. Service in the Hotel industry is getting rare, with online check in and reservations. Very little interactions but thats another issue. Clean room, not really, comfortable bed, I did not think so. Good Value, Not really, I think you could stay at a lesser brand hotel and get the same for less money! The ice machine worked. I would never stay here again and suggest you do not either! It is not worth the money.

It was absolutely disgusting. I have never been to such a poorly maintained Marriott. We stayed here with our four girls and we weren't allowed to get a refund, but let me tell you that we locked the doors and put a couch in front of the door at night! ALL outside doors were left open all night. The pool smelled horrible and had glass bottles at the bottom, food all around the pool area, and more. The lamps in the room didn't work. The shower was dirty with hair. The shampoo bottles weren't cleaned off. The staff was rude. Just too much to list. Very shocking that Marriott is not checking up on their hotels to make sure they maintain their supposedly high standards, which makes me not ever want to book with a Marriott again.

I absolutely love this hotel. Their service is incredible. Building is new and hotel staffs, specially Ehab is nicest!!! They are extremely friendly and nicest hotel staffs I’ve ever encountered in Richmond VA. I will only stay at courtyard by Marriott Richmond Glen Allen and I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling in Richmond VA. I stayed in other Marriott hotels near by but this hotel is the best because of decent hotel staffs and price is on point. I absolutely hate Hilton hotels these days. Marriott hotel never disappoints me. There are many restaurants and shopping near by hotel. If you are towing boat or trucks there are plenty of parking space.

Positive: Staff was nice Negative: Hot tub wasn?t ever hot. They said its off unless people wanted to use it but then it took 45-1hr to heat. Pool area wasn?t clean. Breakfast was supposed to be offered two mornings but wasn?t for one. Air cond in room wasn?t keeping up. Staff very nice.
