Rhea's Inn

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere! We felt very lucky to find this hidden gem after eating at several mediocre tourist restaurants in Newport. Rhea's food was by far the best we've had in the area. I had a ribeye and my husband had baked stuffed lobster. Both were cooked to perfection and so flavorful. We also had a wonderful stay at the inn. The rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable. The inn keeper is so nice, too. We will be back. Highly recommend this place.

Looking for breakfast before our Viking tour of Newport and the mansions. Drove to corner cafe and noticed there was as much people outside of the restaurant as there was inside. Looked online for another restaurant and found Rheas kitchen. Got a seat right away. Beautiful and comfortable restaurant. The food was Excellent!! Pancakes were the delicious. Best I’ve had in awhile. Portions were good and price was reasonable. Service was great, personable and attentive. Highly recommend. Would definitely go back.

Food was good. Recommend the ribs. The atmosphere is very low key. Could have been a little more lively. Also, only one waitress on a Friday was fine for the first part of the meal but once it got busier she definitely started sinking. Overall nice place.

Open @ 8 on Saturday A bit late for me Would be good if they posted their hours She was nice telling me she was closed though A day later I did get the blueberry pancakes. These guys know how to cook and the pancakes are very good. Not like other restaurants in the area make everything out of a box. Who likes eating a pancake an inch thick not cooked in the middle covered in powdered sugar? Diabetes anyone? These are worth the drive. Quiet on a Sunday morning too. Good service. Nice Give it a try!

Thought we'd give this place a shot...so worth it. Owner wasn't even ready for customers but did not turn us away. Made us a fresh pot of coffee while he got his kitchen ready. I got the rib appetizer and after eating them wish I had pick that as my meal they were wonderful. My lobster dinner now came and it was just as good so glad I was able to try both.
