Residence Inn by Marriott West Springfield

I had a great experience at Residence Inn by Marriott West Springfield. The assistant manager Kristine was very professional, kind, and helpful. They made sure everything was taken care of and that guests felt welcome and comfortable. Excellent customer service and a great attitude. Thank you for your hard work.

Positive: "" Negative: Checked in the room had a horrible odor of a chemical. The maintenance man said it was coming from outside as he sprayed something on the carpet and said if it still smelled tomorrow he would clean the carpet. asked for another room. None was available.

We booked this room because we wanted two rooms in one for my 12-year-old to have two friends over for her birthday along with the pool. We checked out at noon on Sunday and at 5 PM. We realize we left her brand new birthday. At the hotel. I immediately called them and explain to them that it was hanging on the back of the Cleared out the rooms And forgot to grab it as I thought it was in her suitcase . The gentleman that I spoke to said he would go up to the room and check as nobody checked in after us. He came back and said it was not in there and that I'd have to call housekeeping the next morning at 9 AM as they would've grabbed it. When I called them the next day, they put me on hold and came back 10 minutes later and stated that it was a supervisor that cleaned the room and she said

We stayed here for one night before going to The Big E. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I also liked that this location was set back away from the busy main road, it definitely made for a more quiet experience. The only change that I would have been helpful is better signage near the turn to get to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
