The room was reasonably clean, but not spotless, and the anti‑slip bath mat in the tub was clearly overdue for replacement or a thorough cleaning. Housekeeping also missed our room entirely one night, and I had to go down to the front desk to request fresh towels.|Most of the staff we interacted with were fine, but one front desk employee was exceptionally rude and did not seem suited for a customer‑facing role.|Breakfast was extremely minimal—just the bare basics—so we chose to go elsewhere each morning.|On the positive side, the location was very convenient for our trip. The property is fantastic. Very clean from the parking lot to the bathroom. You can tell the staff works hard to maintain the hotel. I would say it exceeded my expectations. Check in was smooth, staff was polite & helpful, and the room was great. I was greeted by the most wonderful clean scent when I walked into my room, which was exceptionally clean. No stains on the carpet or furniture, no chips in the desks or tables. The fridge was quiet, the kitchen utensils matching and clean. I did a lot of cooking and really appreciated how they stocked the kitchen. Ok, the knives could have been a little sharper. My biggest complaint is the shower with the half glass- my floor towel was always wet. Oh they also installed something new (I’m guessing AC) and I could barely hear them doing work r

Positive: It was a very clean well laid out and comfortable hotel and the room was great with a very nice view of a woodland and very comfortable bed. Negative: It met or exceeded my expectations for this type if hotel. Nothing negative to say.

Very well done and recent remodel. Both suites (2 stays in November 2025) were recently remodeled with modestly comfortable sofa, very comfortable bed, nice kitchen, etc. Our very well behaved dog Sam was welcomed throughout the property. With the lake out front Sam had plenty of exercise. Fire pit next to the pool was a nice spot to sit with Sam and a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was well done.

***Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend – Infected with COVID*** When we first checked in, the room was clean, which gave us a good initial impression. Unfortunately, that standard quickly declined due to a lack of proper housekeeping throughout our stay. The microwave remained dirty for days, and we went without toilet paper for an extended period. Housekeeping staff only replaced towels and made the beds—often using the same dirty sheets—and never swept, mopped, or vacuumed the floors. I speak Spanish and had to directly ask one of the maids to return and properly clean the room. While she did return, she had an attitude, which was disappointing. Even more concerning, I overheard maids speaking negatively about guests in Spanish, unaware that I could understand them. This was both un
