Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Airport

, I am submitting this complaint regarding my recent three-night stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott on Airport Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. Although check-in is listed as 3:00 PM, I arrived around 7:30–8:00 PM and was informed that my assigned room was still not clean. I was moved from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom due to availability, and my first-floor request could not be accommodated because the only available first-floor room was not ready. Management later stated that they “did me a favor” by upgrading me to a two-bedroom suite. I respectfully responded that this was not an upgrade, but rather an accommodation for the hotel’s failure to have my reserved room available. Traveling for business, and this hotel was willing to take myself and my coworkers after we had previous issues at other hotels. Since check in, the staff has been friendly, and made every attempt to make our stay as easy as possible. My room is always clean and they even do my dishes and put them away.

Did a park and fly stay at this hotel site. Super friendly staff who were knowledgeable, accommodating and problem solvers. When the 5am shuttle to the airport hadn’t arrived as expected the front desk staff took ownership of the issue, drove to the shuttle site in her personal car and found the driver - we all arrived in ample time for our flight. She also made us a pot of coffee and set out some fruit ahead of the scheduled breakfast hours. Our room was clean and fine for an overnight. Close proximity to a few chain restaurants for dinner (Ruby Tuesday and Longhorn).

The first room that we looked at they were doing some type of repair, so I asked to be switched she was very accommodating so there wasn't an issue there. Breakfast on the other hand was another story if they weren't running out of the items the food was cold not sure who the young lady but she worked at the front desk and was helping and the breakfast area she had a very nasty disposition about herself when someone would ask her for something she would either roll her eyes or act as if she didn't see them or hear them. She stated that she just started with the company and breakfast wasn't in her job description so I'm assuming that's why she had an attitude but that's not something that you should take up with the guest take it up with management or corporate. Run as fast as you can, we stayed here 3 years ago for work for two months and the place needs to be redone then. But everything ran beautifully. Breakfast was great the staff was amazing, the rooms were taken care of and clean. But it has been sold apparently , the staff at the front desk are not to blame for the management of the hotel now. Where do I begin, we had three double rooms all of them we found roaches in .Our room on the first floor the sink in the bathroom flooded the floor , maintain came and adjusted something to stop it, he didn't bring a mop and said just use the towels and left , I had to get more towels from up front to dry it up myself . When I was done I went to have a cigarette in the court yard which is very dimly lit and a youngan comes running up telling me to get
