Residence Inn by Marriott Jackson Ridgeland

Not Clean, entire room smelled like mildew and floor damp in bedroom. Breakfast very so so.... Not at all like Res Inn we have stayed in before. Beware...we stayed 2 nites and were so glad to get out. Try another Hotel. Staff Friendly and professional though everything else poor.

The workers in kitchen n Housekeepers are very friendly an accommodating and management is gracious but apologetic for inconsistency in service...these people do the best they can for years keeping this place going BUT there not responsible for run down conditions...do you think they lie to Marriott or franchise owner that all is good? They do there job well, but only onyx LLC or Marriott to blame for musty carpets, constant air freshener in hallways? Maybe central heat an air is worn out? Maybe laundry hasn't been updated since they built the place?Suite's need remodeled? Carpet replaced maybe kitchen needs help n that's why food was cold an fruit wasn't fresh...but think how great your stay would be if the equipment was newish!!? how hard they try with what there given?? seems the neglec

With all due respect, this place is a complete dump. The first room I was assigned to was propped open by the lock when I arrived, and the room was not ready. I went back to the front desk and asked for another room. The room I got was so dirty and ragged out. The stove didn’t work, paint was peeling on the walls and cabinets, lightbulbs were burnt out, carpet was dirty, and live cockroaches were in the room. I didn’t see the cockroaches until the middle of the night, so it was too late to leave. I would not recommend this property under ANY circumstances.

Everything was great! The rooms are spacious and big, the breakfast is great and the staff is so friendly! My family was misplaced by the ice storm and the general manager helped us out! We have nothing but great things to say about the hotel and chain!!!!!

Positive: Free breakfast was delicious and the staff was nice and friendly. Negative: The room wasn?t as clean as expected. I visited in April and the room was spotless. This time the room was not clean properly , showing signs of age. There were food remnants in the dishwasher. The carpet was stained and scuff marks on the floor.
