Hyatt Place Arlington/Courthouse Plaza

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Hyatt Arlington. While the breakfast lives up to the high standards you expect from the Hyatt brand, the real highlight was a staff member named Maria. Alas. she is, without a doubt, the warmest and most welcoming person I have ever encountered at a hotel breakfast. Maria greets every guest with such genuine kindness that it feels like having a meal at home. Even in a position where tips aren't the norm, she goes out of her way to check on everyone and ensure they are enjoying their food. Her dedicated service and the "home away from home" atmosphere she creates made my stay truly special. Maria is a fantastic asset to this hotel, and her hospitality is the main reason I will definitely be returning in the future!

Great location and service, clean rooms, great breakfast. The in-room heater was excessively noisy and vibrated, preventing a good nights sleep, even with earplugs worn. The underbuilding parking lot passageways are extremely narrow, with turns very difficult. Interior corner columns on the parking lot turns have significant damage due to rental car impacts.

Room is big and comfortable. Well equipped gym to keep fit during my stay. Staff are attentive and friendly.

Had a great time. Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great and there was extremely great staff managing breakfast. Especially Maria who went above and beyond to make sure I was fed and taken care of.

Stayed here for two nights on a leisure visit to DC. This hotel was excellent. The staff were very kind and accommodating when I stopped in very late at night after having issues with the other hotel I booked. It’s in a great location close to a lot of good restaurants and shops as well as a quick walk to the metro if you want to get around. The room was very clean and the breakfast was also very good even down to the coffee which is usually an afterthought. Can’t recommend it enough!
