Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this Marriott property. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check-in a breeze. My room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout my visit. I also highly recommend the on-site restaurant—the food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in town! Had a little TV remote issue but thay was resolved after a few tries. Their club lounge and breakfast there were very nice.

Very helpful staff despite a very busy Marine Corps Marathon. Checked in around 10p and the parking garage was packed but the valet was nice enough to help find us a spot on the side. ||At check in Taha was very informative and made sure we had what we needed and offered bottles of water. The lounge is closed on weekends so they offered complimentary buffet breakfast in the restaurant. ||On marathon morning they provided a hotel shuttle for runners to get dropped off and onto the bus for the start line. It was 0.4 miles but appreciated with the cold. In the evening I used their free airport shuttle to DCA. Very nice property and staff is very nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room I was pretty and most importantly, clean. I ordered room service which was fast and delicious. I attended a conference in their conference space which was also a nice experience. Coffee and tea was provided and it was very pleasant. I would definitely chose this hotel again and highly recommend.

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location, right in Crystal City and close to both the airport and downtown DC. The staff were consistently friendly, housekeeping cleaned the room daily, and the lobby has a pleasant coffee shop and bar with live music in the evenings. All of that makes the property feel warm and inviting. However, for a hotel that positions itself as four stars, some basic details fall noticeably short. The bath tissue and especially the towels felt extremely rough, almost like sandpaper, which was honestly the most disappointing part of the stay. The room included an ironing board but no iron, and the Mobile Key feature rarely worked despite being advertised as a convenience. The WiFi situation is also unusual. Very disappointed in my experience. For a Renaissance I expect better, the decorations in the lobby are ok, but i don’t know where is the luxury. There are so many hotel choices in this area, i choose Renaissance in hope that it’s better than the others around. but it turned out they closed lounge access during holiday hours. Although, for customers with lounges access has breakfast included in the downstairs restaurant. But, guess what, that restaurant doesn’t serve good food. i refused to eat their breakfast buffet after one day stay and i have to stay more days. So sad. When we went down to breakfast we waited 15 minutes before anyone seated us. There was a group of about 6 people total waiting to be seated.
