RELAX INN

I pulled up to what looked like an abandoned area. No wonder they only posted the photo of the top of the hotel with just the name, haha! I should have known, but took a chance and booked with them. I ended up not even staying. No staff in the front/lobby, a window to a room was cracked, the pool was…. It was a swamp. Trash around the grounds and I am telling you it just looks abandoned. The hotel is in the photo, on top of the hill and looked very unkempt and felt a bit unsafe.

Motel appears to have been sitting abandoned for several years as well as other adjacent buildings, and is in the middle of unfinished renovation. Our rooms were recently refinished without carpet (gray laminate) which makes the room feel cold and loud and echo excessively. My room in particular definitely had a leaking sink drain and a non functional mini fridge. Our friend in the adjacent room had a toilet that wasn’t properly set and wobbled and rocked on the floor. It appears to have one employee and no services or amenities whatsoever. No coffee or food items of any kind, no vending machines, one ancient ice machine, roughly 18 standard definition TV channels, and a sign by the front desk asking guests to kindly call 911 if there are any emergencies between 5pm and 8am. Not sure why this place even has a bad review in the first place. Staff is super friendly, they waited for us as a late arrival. Rooms are basic, but that's the point? It's fairly priced hotel to sleep in. I personally couldn't have asked for more.

Paid for two nights. Came back for the evening and was locked out of our room. Had to wait for the guy to come back. Found two dead bugs in our room. Will never stay again . Will be contacting the BBB.

July 29th 2022 I stayed at relax inn, I wasn’t in the hotel room for more than five minutes and bed bugs started crawling on the pillow…. They should’ve refunded me back my money
