Red Roof PLUS+ Chicago - Naperville

I've been traveling throughout the area and this is by far the best hotel I've been to. While it's affordable with clean rooms, the star of the show is the staff. Kenneth goes above and beyond to provide the best experience for your stay. He is receptive, attentive, considerate, and kind - genuinely changed the trajectory of my day by his customer service. Even while in line with other people, I noticed he is respectful and informative and everyone ahead of me left the lobby with a smile and laughter. Kenneth made the check-in process light and easy, and the overall experience itself was refreshing.I walked in feeling welcome and left with optimism. The area is walkable with restaurants nearby. As soon as I stepped in the door. I was greeted with a smile. I was told my room would be upgraded becsuse what I booked was sold out. No problem thank you. Next, I asked for suggestions for restaurants it was point on. Lastly, they are pet friendly!!! Kudos for that. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I will definitely be staying there on my next stay.

Positive: Location Negative: The room was not clean. Nats and flys all over. It is conveyed by the front desk attendant that there is no smoking or vaping outside the hotel doors or the balcony. The only thing I did after checking in was weave in and out of people smoking and vaping

Room was very small vs an upgraded room, although there is only a small price difference. The bathroom smelled so strongly of cleaning product it made us nauseous and we had to air out the room and keep the door closed. Otherwise, efficient front desk service and decent location

Staff is always friendly and courteous. Rooms are always clean. Property is well maintained. Pet friendly. I stay here one weekend a month because I drive a truck over the road and this is where I take my time off. I've actually driven out of my way to stay here because I had horrible experiences with two Red Roofs north of here. My dog approves as well as seen in the picture.
