Red Roof PLUS+ Baltimore - Washington DC/BWI Airport

Booking was super easy. Paid about $130 for one night, which was a Saturday. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk lady was helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Room was clean - but smelled heavily of cleaning products upon arrival, a necessary evil, I suppose. Beds were comfy enough and there was more than enough pillows. AC worked well. The entire property is definitely showing it's age, but compared to the other local hotels, for the price - it is to be expected. Pretty close to a few different restaurants and BWI is nearby. Not a bad experience - I would stay here again.

Many times I've gone to this location and it's been okay. There has been a couple of times that we've seen here and there certain things that we just never really said because it wasn't such a big deal. We've never had a problem we've always made sure that we've gathered our trash, and towels ready for housekeeping. Always been careful with things that are not ours. But this one last time that we went, it was not all that good. We ended up not getting our deposit back and we kept wondering why next thing you know we're being told that we had made a hole in the wall by the rim behind the bed. I got really upset because I know for a fact that we never made a hole in the wall specially in the area where I know the housekeeping never really checks unless they're doing deep checkups. The property has numerous signs posted that it is a "100%smoke free" hotel but there is marijuana being smoked everywhere. Whenever you go outside you can smell it. We were on the 3rd floor and when we got in the elevator there was a fog of marijuana smoke inside. We were even able to detect the smell in our room in the morning which we assumed was coming in from outside through vents. We have stayed here numerous times but we are seriously considering not staying at this hotel again.

This was a decent budget hotel provided you stay in the updated premium rooms until they stopped airport pick up shuttle services which also used to drop one off at the nearby MARC AMTRAK Station. Though an older motel, staff was the best. I have used this for the past 3 years. Staff is very good at their work and have a smile.. Always.I hope they return their shuttle service. Even if it is for limited hours.

AVOID if you can.. check in was easy but that was the only good part about this whole booking.. we get to the room only to find the bathtub is clogged so you are standing in the dirty water while showering.. we go to tell the front desk and I get there's no other rooms available as per them but the room next to us was empty and cleaned since the windows were open.. the front desk response was "you can leave if you want" it's midnight at this point. Never once did they show any sympathy or even apologize for having to deal with this situation. And when our booking site called to speak with the hotel staff they lied on top of all of this Would love to give them a 0 rating but Google requires 1 star minimum
