Red Roof Inn & Suites Jackson, TN

Stayed here with my family and dogs while we were moving cross country. This is one of the better Red Roofs we've stayed in especially for the price. The rooms were extremely clean, it was the first night of our trip where we actually felt comfortable enough to get a legit good night's sleep.

Staff was GREAT. Beds were comfy. Loved the fake wood floors and no carpet; you never know what dog drug its butt across hotel carpets. For the price it was awesome; I would stay there again.||A few easy suggestions to make the stay “great” over just “good”. Put vents in the bathrooms. Wipe the black mold off the bathroom baseboards (everything else in bathroom was spotless.) Take a hose to the stairwells that were filthy with dirt, bugs, and bird crap. Introduce your cleaning staff to “Magic Erasers” to take the water stains off the walls.

Visited this Red Roof Inn on 9/25, 9/28 and 10/2 for one nighters. Initially was assigned room #110 by David at the front desk. He’s professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and engages in conversation. This room was clean with a comfortable king bed and the amenities functioned well. A few TV channels weren’t as clear as most. Second room #101 wasn’t as attractive as the first room, so on my 3rd visit I requested room #110 again and it was provided by Mrs. Elizabeth M. She was friendly, charming, intelligent while also engaging and obviously accommodating. Housekeeping led by Gladys worked well. She always seemed to be on the property supervising, while being friendly and doing her duties. Room costs were appealing and within my budget. Breakfast is very simple, but enough to start the

Been to many Red Roofs Inns because they are pet friendly but this one unfortunately has to be the worst that we stayed. Half the plugs/USB ports didn't work, the walls in the shower are peeling, and as funny as this may sound I got coffee pods in my room but no coffee pot to make it with. The floors and the bed were clean it just looked like it needed a lot of repair.

Positive: Beds were comfortable Negative: The breakfast was disgusting. Juice was sour and other items were not stocked. No milk, no waffle batter. We spent 25 minutes trying to scrounge breakfast and we never saw the front desk clerk
