SureStay Plus by Best Western Jackson

My review will be a little mixed with postive and negatives, but I always want to share the accurate information for those who use Trip Adivsor when booking hotels.||I booked this location using my BW app before looking at the reviews on Trip Advisor. Once I did look at the reviews I thought to myself - ok it's going to be a good location.||Upon arrival, most of the cleaning staff where sitting in the lobby, apparently had finished their duties for the day. The front desk clerk checked us in and was friendly. He advised he had placed us at the back of the hotel to reduce the amount of freeway noise for us since we were on a road trip.||That's when I began noticing the hotel more closely, it is a little difficult finding how to get into the hotel from the highway to begin with. Nice and affordable. Room was clean, but the there was a scent in the air, we think from the air conditioner. Beds were comfortable with nice comforters and pillows, but the beds were soft. Which is great if you like softer beds, but we are used to a little bit firmer beds. Breakfast was good, they had the waffle maker we love! Staff were busy, but attentive. Plenty of parking and was close to where our event was. I wish that there was an accessible ice machine, so you didn't have to ask staff for ice, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We didn't get any photos this time around unfortunately. We arrived late and were gone all day.

I had people knocking on my door at all hours of the night. It happened everynight. I let the front desk know and nothing was done. Not sure what they could of done. The hotel was not worth the money I paid and definitely should be rated far lower than 6.8.

Not at all worth the $70 price tag. The heater is out I set it on 78° for the night and the room never got above 65°but was moderately clean with one of the largest, moldy, bathrooms of any hotel I've been at. Lights and TV are all early 2000's and the Wi-Fi was intermittent and unstable. Also, the hotel soaps were already used and upon closer inspection of the tub there was a solid ring of black mold and the box springs that the bed is placed on has two bars that will catch a shin Everytime you exit the bed. The walls are so thing you can here conversation on the completely other side of the hotel. Pricey but the lobby area is organized and at least they knew how to properly handle a check-in service.

Excellent hotel. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Amazing water pressure in shower. Nice free breakfast. Price was a bargain for this room.Staff were excellent. We are hotel snobs and this will be our go to stop in Jackson ,when traveling from Houston to Nashville.
