Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jackson Northeast by IHG

Since I’m alway traveling, I stay at a lot of Holiday Inns and this one, our family had to stay at for almost a month cause of housing and my job. The staff was beyond polite and got to where they recognized us when we would leave and come back or when we were at breakfast. The folks here became friends and they recognized me cause of my black cowboy hat. Honestly, I loved staying here and even with a busy staff, it was nice to know I could help out when something came up and they were happy to help us out when we cleaned our room ourselves. Also being part of IHG, always a win!

I needed a good night's sleep on a road trip and this location delivered. The property as a whole is clean, modern, and well-maintained inside and out. It's very convenient to the interstate but there's no road noise in the room. Parking is ample, open, and well-lit. The front desk associate at check-in was professional, courteous, welcoming, and helpful, and I'm giving special kudos for maintaining a positive and energetic attitude on a day when the hotel was packed with guests from a big multi-state kids' baseball tournament going on down the road. The room was sparkling clean, quiet, and comfortably furnished, with ample workspace at the desk, plenty of plugs for chargers and devices, a comfortable reading chair, and excellent work and reading lights. The bath was also sparkling clean.

Unless hotels provide scrumptious free breakfast I don’t usually give five stars. I didn’t care for the eggs and sausage gravy but my husband’s palate isn’t as discriminating HA HA. |However I can highly recommend this particular hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to use our HDMI cord to watch Apple TV from laptop. Front desk personnel and breakfast hostess were very kind and attentive. For the price this was the best option for us.

I’ve stayed in a lot of motels for work travel. This is the first time I’ve had any issues. I don’t know if the wash the bed sheets in something new, or if there even washed at all. I immediately started itched every time I sat or laid in the bed. I have a big whelt on my leg and the bottom part of my stomach.

Was not greeted friendly when checked in. Paid almost $200 each for two rooms. My room was clean for the most part except for the mold in the windows. When we went to open our rooms the key cards would not work on both rooms I went and had them rekeyed and one of the rooms she had been written down with the wrong room number on the key card sleeve. The shower door has finger prints all over it. My door to my room was not secure you can just push it open from the outside. Lucky I didn't need to leave my room and could secure from the inside. I also mentioned to the front desk that I was a rewards member she made it clear that it wouldn't make a difference on the rate very sternly.
