Was not let in when I arrive. Was told I had no reservation. I had left my phone in my truck and had drove 11 hours. I really needed to use the restroom and I was the victim of what I would only think was racist hatred. She told me I had no reservation then said after I went back to my truck to get my phone. She says I didn't hear you. Then asks for my id. Then said the computer needed to boot up. I was like how could you have even checked? Before she was able to look up my information my digital key popped up and I asked for my id back. She said she didn't mean to offend me. Absolutely low level service with a management that doubles down on bad service. Love Mariott, many year member elite level on this account and old account too. ||||Definately choose a different Marriott, the tell of a good location is making right ehat goes wrong. Great clean place that’s conveniently located close to restaurants and shopping areas. Being in Jackson, I was a little concerned about the area but once we arrived, the area seemed like a good part of town. Definitely a newly developed area. Staff was great, hotel was nice and the beds were comfortable. Over all, one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in

Positive: Clean room, small (but heated) pool. Negative: Appeared management had the hotel understaffed during our stay. Nobody around the front desk on multiple occasions, and breakfast items were not not adequately serviced.

We stayed here for a night while passing through. Angela, the night monitor, was very polite and friendly. She was quick to get us checked in. Our room was clean and modern. The hotel is just right off the interstate and within walking distance to several restaurants. The area seemed pretty safe to me.
