Ramada by Wyndham Jacksonville I-95 by Butler Blvd

I stayed here with a friend over the weekend. We went outside to smoke, and two drug addicts tweaking out was asking if we could give them a cigarette, and then asked us for money and if we “ needed “ anything they would be able to get it for us. We were both scared, and uncomfortable. They don’t have security. The rooms need serious updating. They smell musky like mildew and just have a weird funky smell to them. Service. Lmao don’t even bother the front desk clerks. They were rude, arrogant, and just straight up didn’t care about us or the guests in front of us. Also to note, we found out from a waitress that this hotel was a crime scene. Yeah someone was shot here. We WILL NOT be coming back.

Rooms need to be updated. The floors are coming up. The rooms has a smell to it. The front desk person who was there didn't have a badge on so I could identify him and that was the morning person. He wasn't approachable and he had a slick attitude like he was irritated. But the evening shift guy stephen was very pleasant and nice. We came 2 yrs ago and they were renovating and we came back 2025 and it look worst than it did before. Now that we have checked out. These are the things that my family and I found wrong. The rooms are horrible. The guy told us we were in a renovated room. How? The bathroom side walls were peeling. My parents room ceiling had stuff falling from it. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Apparently the hotel is being renovated, but it should not have been open at all. Our first room was unlivable with corroded taps and shower, and paint peeling on the ceiling, and dampness we could not get rid of with the terrible air conditioner, so we moved to another room. This had been renovated, but there were NO services for a week. We had to ask for towels, soap, toilet paper, and had to find someone to take our garbage away. The breakfast was totally inadequate in the lobby. The pool should have been condemned by the health department and was disgusting to see. Although the reviews online were bad, I couldn't believe a Ramada could be that bad, but now I know to trust reviews. I wish I had taken pictures, but I'm sure yo

Positive: The check in and check out was easy and smooth. Negative: The shower head faucet was very corrode,very green and had some black.Afraid to use Very stained dirty looking couch and the table in the room was leaning bad. The room smelled terrible. Had to get some Lysol. Very noisy,I'm not sure why. All night long.

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stopped in. We couldn't even sit on the furniture. Hair in the open drains. Stains on the couch. That's just the room. The 4th floor hallway was a mess too with clear water damage. We immediately left to sit on our car while Wyndham searched for other accommodations. When checking in, we stood at the desk for 10 minutes while the clerk was in the back looking at his phone. I will never go to another Ramada again. We have photos.
