I stayed at Ramada Jacksonville recently and had a really solid experience overall. Check-in was quick and easy, which is always a good start after a long drive. I decided to add the breakfast buffet, and I’m glad I did. There were way more options than I expected for a hotel breakfast. It was fresh, well stocked, and definitely worth it. My room was clean and comfortable, and it looked like it had been updated. I had read some mixed reviews before booking, but my room didn’t reflect any of that. It felt refreshed and well maintained. I travel with my dog, so having a pet friendly hotel is important to me. That made the stay much easier. The staff throughout the property were friendly and helpful. It was also nice having the Comedy Zone right on site. I went to a show while I was there

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE! Waited almost 30 minutes at an abandoned check in desk for someone to show. We were checked in by the awesome housekeeping manager, not even her job. When we did get a room it was old and smelly. Most of the plugs didn't work, no outlets for charging cords.|When we got up to take shower at 6:00|in the morning we discovered we had no towels, no shower chair (which we asked for for my mobility challenged spouse.|Room was absolutely deplorable. Definitely not up to the quality of a Wyndham property.

Positive: The staffs were very friendly and they have the best comedy club around. Negative: The qualities of their services could use some improvements in areas with trainings..The TV needed to be updated for closed captions to work, and their Cable features were popping up on the screen... Toilet was leaking with an oder coming from it..

I would not stay here. I know for $100/night not to expect anything fancy, but I do expect safety and the bare minimum - a room without trash in it. If I was in the area again and all other hotels were booked up, as they were during my stay, I would choose to sleep in my car. Here's why: - I booked online, but never received a confirmation email. Called to check and see why and they say they don't have a booking under my name and that they can't hold a room over the phone. The guy on the phone was barely speaking above a whisper, did not offer an apology, and could not pull up my booking even with my reservation number. Now, we were an hour away and it was a holiday so things were booked up and booked up QUICK, but the front desk said we'd have to walk in to reserve a room. Grrr. We did

Staff was lovely but the rooms were absolutely disgusting. I’m used to bare-bones hotels — I don’t expect luxury at the Ramada — but a NASTY hotel is another thing entirely. The room we were placed in was so infested with mold that it was difficult to breathe. The stench was horrible, and we realized why when we saw the AC. Photos attached. The bathroom walls were also moldy, and there was just an overall grime to everything. We asked for a new room right away and the front desk employee was very helpful. In fact, all the employees we interacted with (bar staff and a cleaner) were friendly and kind. But again, the ROOMS. The second one was somewhat better. There was no visible mold but it still smelled musty. Ended up having to sleep with a KN-95 mask so I could breathe. On top of that,
