Ramada by Wyndham Effingham

This place is disgusting and they should burn it down and rebuild. There were stains EVERYWHERE; the carpet, duvet cover, sheets, towels, shower curtain, upholstered chair, even the lamp shades had stains. The wardrobe bar was broken so you couldn't hang your clothes. Remind you there's stains everywhere. The remote controlled didn't work. The safe in the wardrobe didn't work. The air conditioner/heater didn't work and smells like it would start on fire. The bathroom was gross. Asked to be put in a different room or given a refund and neither option was granted by the employees. The Continental breakfast was a joke. Do better Wyndham!

Hotel was extremely dirty. Cold water didn't work on the bathroom sink so water was only really hot. Shower only had warm water and the knob was loose and kept dropping which would turn the water off constantly. There was hair and used towels left in the bathroom and tub. The ac/heater only blew hot and the auto option didn't work so it was extremely hot in there. Breakfast was not stocked and the person working behind the counter was sitting on their phone not working. Should have read all the 1 star reviews before booking. Would never stay there again.

We needed a place to stop and sleep with our dog during a road trip. We didn't really want to pay $200+ for a night to sleep so we chose this place. The shower curtain was very moldy, the carpet was dirty, the tv didn't work and there was old pizza in the microwave. The bed seemed clean and it was comfortable. My boyfriend took a shower, but I didn't. It grossed me out. The shower curtain was visibly very moldy. I stuck with a wash cloth and the sink. I don't mind modest accommodations, but dirty I don't handle well.

Positive: I left my suitcase in the breakfast room and the hotel staff was extremely helpful getting it picked up by UPS to get back to me!!! Super job!! Negative: ""

I never leave bad reviews for hotels but this was beyond awful so I feel like I need to warn people. When I first got here the lady up front had her boyfriend up there with her he was on the phone talking about weed they were going in and out hanging out with friends very unprofessional. So ok no big deal but then I got to my room which like dog and urine. There was hair all in the bathroom no way I felt comfortable taking a shower. But worst of all the ac didn’t work at all and it was so hot in the room. I would never go here again!!!
