Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. We travel for our business we always have a pickup with a trailer. We always park in back. Never had an issue. My husband has trouble walking and we have handicap plaque. We never park our truck and trailer in handicap. But we do try to get close to a door. Last night after checking in showering relaxing we get a call from front desk. You have to move your truck next door behind the Dennys restaurant. I asked why she said they was full and needed spaces. So my husband got dressed and went and moved truck. During the night another truck and trailer parked exactly where we had been. We travel 3-4 nights in hotels each week. Never had a hotel make us |Move our truck. We stay at many Hilton property’s. The shower floor has many issues. Sounds like i

This was a very pleasant place to stay. It was conveniently located, very clean and well appointed. The rooms were not elaborate, but were clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was one of the best hot buffets we have had recently. The food would have only been better if it was cooked in our presence by a chef. Their omelets were superb

Highly recommend staying here. Modern updates and clean. Staff is amazing- you can tell this hotel has great mgt and teamwork. The front desk associate mopped the floor after almost every guest walked in. The breakfast was better food and cleaner space than other hotels. Great hotel with fair prices. Nice hotel , swimming pool and hot tub both indoors even though the hot tub was not working once we arrived but we were told way before we arrived it was . Clean comfortable rooms . Very nice clean bathroom and walk in shower plenty of towels / wash cloths shampoo/ conditioner and body wash already in the shower , hand soap and hand lotion in pump dispenser's next to sink . Clean carpets nice comfortable heat / ac that was working properly . Closet for clothes with extra comforter. Electronic charging ports for phones Laptops and even has wireless charging pads . Microwave and refrigerator small desk with office chair for working people . Night stands. Small sitting chair.
