Camp Lakewood Campground

Nice wooded sites with easy in and out access and some of the sites overlooking the lake. The campground was near enough the town for easy shopping yet it was very quiet. The staff was very helpful. I wished I had tried their pizza but I didn't have the time. I'll certainly stay there again if in the area.

This was a perfect overnight stay, quiet and peaceful park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the interstate. Nice touch to have a restaurant on-site after a long drive. Being off season, it was very quiet. We recommend this park if you travel through the area.

Pros - Our wooded site was right on the lake. Hubby walked down a short incline and fished all day. |Campground was super clean and the bathrooms? Look at the pics! |Food bought from campground (pizza & breadsticks) were good and saved one evening's cooking and cleanup. |Wifi worked great.|Laundry room was nice with comfy chairs to sit in while you wash and dry. $3/load ($1.50 wash/$1.50 dry)|If you forget anything, Walmart is 5 minutes from campground. ||Cons - If you're wanting quiet, you won't get that. I-57 is right by the campground so there are traffic noises 24/7. That worked well for us though. |Campground is right next to a trailer park and there was someone that had a vehicle (car? Amazing place! People, setting and location were excellent! Would definitely stay here again for a longer stay! Level sites, clean restrooms, convenient amenities such as a little restaurant and store. Manager made a fresh pot of coffee (free) for me!

Great place to stay .staff were amazing the pizza was great. Sites were big we had a pull thru and was amazing ,very clean and tiday and great showers and facilities . Well recommended. Thanks for a great stay guys . Ontario canada here
