Comfort Suites Effingham Central

The location is good. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. On our visit the swimming pool was out of action, which disappointed our grandchildren. Breakfast was very basic and the coffee is very weak, even the ‘Bold’. Overall though the hotel was good value for what we paid and had a nice atmosphere.

Desk staff didn't inform us of things in the hotel (wi fi password was on the card but they didn't mention it, no mention when breakfast was available). The conditioner was empty in our room so we told the desk when we checked out so others could have some available. The toilet seat was loose in our room when we arrived so we had to use caution when using the bathroom. We informed the desk when we checked out.

It's not bye far the nicest Comfort Suite I've stayed at. The carpet looked old and dirty. The rooms were nice, the bedding was very nice and great pillows. The entire place was great other than some carpet needing attention. Will stay here again. The night clerk was very pleasant.

Comfortable sleep, competent front desk. Interesting that the pool was out of order, as was the “business center”. I didn’t need either but letting folks know to ask. The “steakhouse” across the street provided sustenance and good service.

What a wonderful place, Room was large and very clean with lots of amenities. Located in a good location near a fantastic restaurant. Breakfast was good also.
