Quality Inn Sumter near Shaw AFB

This place is NASTY I Wish I Could give NO STARS if I could! The Mattress had stains under the cover fitted sheet! The pillow has tears in it and holes! Pubic hair in the blanket! The pillow was yellow and dingy! The mattress spring felt like the mattress was 8 years old very uncomfortable! No bulbs in the lamps! Spider Web. Food stains on the night stand! This place is DISGUSTING MY DOG live better than this. The wall are paper thin you can hear the neighbor television so Loud this PLACE needs to be shutdown and reopened once it's completely renovated and updated felt like 1955! DO NOT STAY HERE IF you like comfort and cleanliness DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

This hotel was a good price, but it was an older facility. Our housekeeper Sandra was wonderful. She checked on us and interacted with our seven year old grandson often. She had great customer service skills and attitude. She should be commended! The pool was clean and refreshing. I was surprised that there wasn't an exhaust fan of some sort in the bathroom. If we return, we will request a ground floor room as the stairs were a bit much to handle for me. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the hotel was in a great area, close to shopping and restaurants.

You get what you pay for. This hotel is being renovated at a very slow pace. The parking lot has huge potholes in it. The exterior needs someone to go around and pick up the trash daily. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom and dirt on the door and floor of the room. Only 3 out of 4 nights they made the beds, emptied the trash in the room and gave us fresh towels. The pool was closed by the health department. The restaurant was the only good part. They gave us a free plate of breakfast and coffee. (scrambled eggs, grits or potatoes, toast and bacon or sausage) I won't stay here again until they clean it up.

Under renovation so it looks plain and messy outside, but my room was clean, comfortable, and in good repair. Friendly reception and excellent housekeeping. The pool looks good though I didn't use it.

do not stay here what they advertise and what you get is totally wrong dont believe breakfast buffet ..you get two eggs and pot and grits thats a hell of a buffet place is total trash you be better of sleeping in car ,,,,,we had two days booked and only stayed one night. just disgusting ,,,,,should be torn down and rebuilt,,, or close till remodel is done ,,,stop ripping people off.... their is no excuse for this so dont believe the good reviews ,,,,you cant say anything good about this place
