Quality Inn & Suites Jacksonville-Baymeadows

This hotel is extremly run down and dirty. The pool and spa is closed. Website advertises it is open. According to the reviews (I wish i read sooner) the pool has been closed for awhile. It is false advertisement to say there is a pool / spa when there is not & clearly this issue it not being resolved in a timly manor. The whole place smells like smoke. It is supposed to be a no smoking hotel yet even with the window open for hours this place smells horriable. There are cigarettes everywhere on ground. The first floor is torn up in several spots and has garbage laying around. There is no screens in second story windows. The water that comes out of sink and shower has a matelic smell its awful. The bathroom sink is leaking underneath so they have a bag under it collecting water. Why not ch

I would rate my stay a 7 out of 10. Everything was good overall. The room was quiet, I got a good night’s sleep, and I felt safe during my stay. The only downside was that the hotel is a bit old, but otherwise it was a comfortable experience.

Cockroaches are considered pets. Having your room cleaned after 3 and 4 nights even though you took the time to go to the desk to ask them to clean it. NOT HAPPENING. I personally wouldn't eat anything they served due to lack of cleanliness. Inside and outside. The parking lot looks like the town dump. The people hanging out there were quite scary. No water pressure, dirty towels and three channels on the TV. I wouldn't put my dog in this place but my reservation was prepaid no refunds so I stuck it out. I took an hour long shower when I got home. I am surprised I had a vehicle to drive home. I really thought it would be stolen in their parking lot. I suggest any place would be a big improvement.

This place felt like an active war zone. Dozens of mattresses discarded outside of hotel with suspicious red / brown stains all over them. Our room had a thick layer of slime on it to where when you walk your shoes literally stick to the floor. The pool looks like it hasn't been filled in 9 years, the hot tub looks like a legitimate swamp/pond. (Still water) i booked this place for 2 days and checked out within the first 4 hours. They would not give a full refund, only half. They also require $100 deposit for check in that is separate.(UPDATE 3-10-26 THEY HAVE SINCE CHARGED ME ANOTHER $100 SECURITY DEPOSIT!!) When I called my bank to dispute it they said I need to call the hotel first. I call the hotel and they are telling me they never charged me $100. Don't walk away, RUN AWAY! biggest

I stayed at Quality Inn & Suites Jacksonville-Baymeadows for a couple of nights, and it was a solid, no-frills experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly when I checked in. The location was convenient for getting around the area, with restaurants and shops nearby. It’s not a luxury spot, but for the price, it worked well for my stay. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, I’d say it’s a good choice.
