Quality Inn Rocky Mount near Event Center

I want to highlight that the hotel is very clean (especially lobby and public bathroom) and the staff at the reception and breakfast very kind and helpful. My only negative comment would be that the breakfast is slightly lacking. Please add the classic Quality Inn biscuits, gravy and some warm food (eggs, sausage, bacon). Other than that, good value for money. Thank you staff!

The first room that I was sent to had about a dozen dead cockroaches on the floor. I figured I’d still stay in the room as long as they were dead. It didn’t take long for 5-6 live ones started running across the desk and tv. Went down to get a different room and got a nice room until I pulled the sheets back and found dozens of bedbug poop stains in the corners. Got another room, didn’t find any bugs but the heater/AC only had one speed and that was full blast. When I checked out, I got 10% off my stay. Yeah! I have pics so I didn’t make this up for a measly 10% off.

Booked a Disable room. Asked for the first floor disabled person room. Got there early.2:45.Asked to check in. All of a sudden they have no rooms for disabled on first floor. Or any first floor rooms.Fine,second floor was ok because there was an elevator. Then after 2 days,the elevator was not able to be used. My son has physical disabilities. He can not use stairs easily and has fallen on stairs several times which is why I asked for a first floor room. Left for the day and called at 11:30 to see if a first floor was available because he told me the elevator couldn't be used while we were out.My son has had 3 strokes,2 were major. The girl at the desk,named Ruby,very nice,said come at 12:30 and one should be ready and that maintenance could help us move him,since I am a Senior in my mid

Good experience at this location. The location is easy to get to, around many shops, and is close to downtown. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Ms. Linda who served the breakfast was out of this world. She was kind, attentive, and made sure our family of 10+ had whatever we needed. The continental breakfast had many items for you to enjoy in the lobby or take to your room. While unfortunate events have happened at this location, its a slight inconvenience that the lobby closes so early. With a large group not near each other caused inconvenience getting disabled members to the other side of the location. If a guard is needed at night, then the hotel ahould pay for it. Its cheap and an inconvenience. The rooms are just as described. All was clean and neat. The wifi went in and out but

It's really unfortunate I have to leave such a terrible review because the pricing and state of the rooms are great in my opinion. However, my vehicle was hit in the parking lot by one of the utility vehicles that are constantly on the premises and not only was I not notified, but the front desk basically covered it up (why? I am not sure.) My friend had booked us a room Friday 2/13/26 - Sun 2/15/26 and I realized there was damage to my vehicle Monday 2/16/26. Please note, I wasn't sure where the damage had occurred at this point, we had also been in Raleigh a lot on Sunday, so it could have happened out there. I called the inn on 2/16/26 around noon and spoke with front desk receptionist. I advised that I had stayed at hotel the night of 2/13/26 and 2/14/26 and was present on location 2/1
