Candlewood Suites Rocky Mount by IHG

The room is called "king suite" and as soon as you get to the third floor it smells like someone lit a fresh cigarette smelt like that all night room it was some what clean the couches were dirty the towels definitely felt like they were used the bed was ok hurt my back in the morning couldn't sleep cause it smelt like a cigarette was lit in here never staying in here again worst hotel and not even a little clean stains everywhere these rooms need either a heavy remodel or at least some clean stuff and air freshener I'm genuinely scared to see what the cheapest option looks like the bathrooms are suprsingly clean WARING NON CANCELABLE RESERVATION all in all dont come here go somewhere nice or if you are coming here bring some frebreeze so it doesn't smell cause this place has none and sme

I enjoyed my stay at Candlewood Suites, Rocky Mount, NC. Love the large room with kitchenette, even though I didn't use the kitchen. Staff (Troy-late night, and Connie-AM) were both friendly, pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping could be more thorough as there was only one kleenex in the tissue box in the bathroom, and one of the light bulbs did not work. I informed Connie of these things, and hopefully she had someone take care of these issues. Had a nice rest and the pillows are very comfortable which was a real plus since many times I have to use my own pillow.

Me and my kids loved staying here they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. David was so welcoming and Check us in our room fast and on point great customer service! Our room was very Clean and smell wonderful!

Positive: "" Negative: I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The hotel corridors and even the room had visible pet hair everywhere — on the floors, furniture, and bedding. Disturbing and clearly shows a lack of proper cleaning. Would not recommend staying here

I’m sorry but this hotel was nothing short of disturbing. The first room smelled like they bombed it with some overpowering chemical smell to try to cover up cigarette smell so we asks to move , the second room smelled like cigarettes, and the third room smelled like urine. I had my 5 yr old son with me and could not run out of there fast enough. We were only in the rooms for about an hour and a half and clothes still smell like it. We left at 8pm and got an air bnb nearby, as the other hotels in the area have horrific reviews as well. Never EVER again. The man at front desk was very nice at lest and he did process a refund
