Quality Inn JFK Airport Rockaway Blvd

I booked this hotel (Quality Inn JFK Ariport Rockaway Blvd) for parents on 01/29/2026. When booking this specific location, the hotel website and booking website clearly stated that the hotel stay on this specific date/time would have breakfast included. However, during their stay, they were informed that there would be no breakfast due to hotel renovations when they arrived for breakfast in the morning. If we had known that the hotel would not be serving breakfast on that date/time or if the hotel had been more transparent, then I definitely would have booked a different hotel instead. Since then, I have contacted the hotel management multiple times to discuss this and have not recieved any response yet. First of all the room was very very clean, which is wonderful. The mattress and the bedding were so comfortable. The pillows were great. We had a great night sleepMy husband is handicapped and they were very helpful with us. Then the next day when we checked out, our friends left behind their backpack with passports everything important in it by the time we realized it, it was four hours before we could get back to the hotel and the staff had everything safely put away for us. The hotel is not fancy, but it was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

In the last 10 years, this is the worst hotel experience I have ever experienced. At first the lady that checked my family and I in was extremely rude. She wouldn’t answer any of my questions, was not smiling at all , wasn’t showing any hospitality, no warm welcoming at all. For many days I have been asking for more towels and never getting enough for a family of four. I constantly asked for extra pillows and was denied every single time and my wife and I ended up having neck pain. The room was not properly cleaned even after the room service was done. This hotel is a disgrace for the whole Quality inn ( Choice hotel ) chain. They do not care about customers and customer service, all they care about is rapidly swiping your credit card and a kick in the butt. I would never ever come back t

Location. Location. Location. This place is 5 minutes from JFK airport. So, you get what pay for. The rooms are worthy of what you paid for. Our blinds wouldn't close all the way. However, the heat was on full blast and we had plenty of towels to freshen up. It was fine. The beds were clean. We just needed a place to lay our heads for 5 hours due to a delayed flight. It got the job done. They provide transportation to and from the airport. We ran into an issue trying to contact the driver for our transportation to the hotel. No on answers and we waited 20 minutes. It was cold. The driver was kinda rude too. But he got us where we needed to be.

We arrived JFK on Saturday January 31, around 9:00 am and it was our first time in New York ! Right after a snow storm. It was freezing! We followed the directions to call for the FREE airport shuttle and and no-one answered the phone so we caught a UBER and approached the front desk! The Lady did not care about us too much and from the looks of this place it was not what we saw in the photos! Looked like construction going on and really no hospitality !
