Courtyard by Marriott New York Queens/Jamaica

Saved us very late at night when the Quality Inn had cancelled our room. ||We stayed for a night’s layover between flights. The guys in reception were really helpful and friendly at check in and check out. The room clean and comfortable. Breakfast exceeded our expectations and the lady was lovely. ||I can’t comment on the area but know I did’t feel particularly comfortable walking from the quality in at 0030 with luggage! It’s not far from the airport and was great for a layover hotel - there’s a Burger King over the road but I didn’t see anything else (but it was really late!). ||Expensive at £240, but we had no choice and we were in New York in suppose!

Its not a hotel anymore, its a shelter. Why they don’t remove it here as a hotel location? 😡

This hotel is randomly cancelling bookings, without providing any assistance in finding another property at a comparable price. The hotel is new, and I spoke with a local contact as advised by the hotel, who said that these types of issues could occur for up to one year. I advise avoiding bookings at this property for the next year, or you could be left without a place to stay. Very disappointed in Bonvoy for allowing this to happen without any assistance, even for those with Platinum status.
