Courtyard by Marriott New York JFK Airport

I stayed here for one night while on a business trip in NY. The room was pretty nice (and clean), the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure: these are the things that I typically care about. Some of the furniture and the hallways showed some signs of wear; but everything was clean, neat, and orderly. What really impressed me about this hotel was the staff. I have never experienced a staff that was so friendly and welcoming. Everyone from the receptionist to the wait staff, to the shuttle drivers made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I think that most hotels these days have forgotten about customer service. It is clear to me that this hotel prioritizes customer service. I had the pleasure of using the hotel’s shuttle service, and I can’t recommend it enough! The driver James Corley was not only incredibly safe behind the wheel but also extremely helpful. He made sure to assist with my luggage right from the start, and I truly appreciated that extra effort. His friendly attitude and professionalism made the whole experience pleasant.

Rooms were clean and spelled nice. Had a my family stay here for wedding. $50 parking in back or u park in street. Nice staff. Rooms needed to b reconditioned paint peeling and old shower seals. Air don't get cold in any of rooms and my room had a leak under kitchen sink. Needs maintenance to upkeep more. And first Marriott I been to where I had to pay for breakfast would give it 2 and a half stars if I could next time will b staying in a different hotel.

The hotel is clean, the food is good, the location is prime. The staff member Trechianna is very helpful and sweet, she makes you feel like family. The staff for the most part is great and make you feel welcome. We had a bit of an issue getting a receipt which is paramount on business trip because the lady the works the front desk felt it was a violation giving you your own receipt if the payment method is listed as your business account?? The first time we stayed she refused to give us one, luckily when we stayed the second time the other front desk lady that was there told us we can absolutely have our own receipts and even put them in an envelope for us after the same lady was once again giving us an issue. If it was not for the other front desk clerk we would definitely be looking els
