Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville

Room was not clean when we arrived (garbage can was full of garbage and the floor was not swept and had crumbs all over). The room key card only functioned for 12 hours at a time so everyday we had to stop at the front desk to get the room card rekeyed. Room service was non existent and I had to ask twice to have the room cleaned. Even then I had to sweep the floor myself! None of the surfaces were wiped down either.

Never seen such rude staff!. Despite being almost empty they gave us the worse room in the furthest location. It smelled, the heating was so noisy you needed ear plugs, everything seemed broken, it was dirty, etc. Then they clearly and deliberately cancelled both our keys so we where locked out in the morning, I had to walk a country mile to the desk to get new keys. When I asked the desk person he slammed the paperwork down and exclaimed I am busy. The breakfast was horrible, the rooms terrible, the staff rude and spiteful, give this place a wide pass.

Well there were 2 bugs on the ceiling of room 123 and I accidentally spilled some water on the floor and took a wash cloth to wipe it up and the cloth was black I advised the front desk that I needed the floors in the whole room to be moped which they did the next day which was okay with me. The 2 bugs I noticed on my last night bye the way I am handy chap I only got 1 leg and told them I didn't want to take action chance of getting a infection.

This place needs so much...UPdated and the rooms smell like a stinky wet dog. I booked this for a friend and he was soooo disappointed . Very embarrassing. The breakfast only satisfactory. Charged $263.00 for a dump

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However the room was not very clean. Mold on ceiling, floors were dirty, hairs in shower, stains on towels&blankets, etc. The room had a musty old cigarette smell when the AC was running. People on the 3rd floor were smoking marijuana from the smell of it. The whole 3rd floor smelled like a dispensary and it made my pregnant wife feel sick. The house keepers were very nice when we asked to get our trash removed from the cans, they did however not sweep the room or anything. We refused to use the microwave because it was dirty. We weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but a little attention to detail and cleanliness goes a long way. Price was you get what you pay for, and it did the job for us to sleep for a week during our stay while we worked and
