Courtyard by Marriott Knoxville Airport Alcoa

We stayed from January 30-February 1 during a major snowstorm, and I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. While many people were able to be home with their families, the staff here stayed the entire weekend to ensure guests were safe, comfortable, and well cared for and it truly showed. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional despite the challenging conditions. I especially want to recognize Sierra and Lauren for their outstanding hospitality, kindness, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant during a stressful weather event, and their positive attitudes made a huge difference. Excellent stay. The hotel is older but recently renovated and is extremely close to the airport. ||The rooms are large and practically soundproof which makes for a great night’s rest in the comfortable beds.

Check in experience was less than desirable. Online check in didn't complete, clerk was not well trained and a little confused, but nice. Breakfast on weekends didn't start u til 7 am, which is inconvenient for travelers with earlier obligations. Breakfast was very nice when we were able to get it and the attendants were great. Beds were comfortable, and bathroom was. Not sure why Hotels are still putting tub/showers units in rooms. Checkout was fast and easy

Positive: great facilities, clean, nice rooms. I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub in February ( I am from MN). Convenient shuttle service to Airport. If you are flying out out Knoxville, you should stay here! Negative: ""

I had a room reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott Knoxville Airport Alcoa and had to cancel with very short notice due to a flight change. When I called in to let them know, the front desk and the management were both very kind and empathetic of my situation. The service and resolution they provided was beyond excellent. The people here truly value their customers and unique situations are not a deterrent of great service. A+++
