Best Western Knoxville Airport/Alcoa

Room wasnt clean. Heating unit sounded like a jet engine taking off. It was freezing. Couldn't turn on heat or we couldnt sleep. Front desk was no help. Didn't have another room. Couldn't offer discount. Nothing. Do not stay in room 309

😊: It's by the airport, shuttle was free and easy to arrange, very nice staff running it. 😢: The woman in line who checked in before me was given a key to a room that was already occupied. When she came back visibly shaken that she had just barged in on someone sleeping in an already occupied room, front desk staff were pretty unbothered. A new key to a different room was issued with barely an apology. As a woman travelling alone, I was unnerved by the thought that the front desk staff had made such an error - what if they handed out my room key to someone later? Did not love this..

I missed my flight and needed a place to crash for about 7 hours. I usually stay with Hilton properties or a Marriott equivalent, but when I checked Hilton Airport location, the price was ridiculous. I paid a little over 100 with the taxes and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to my room. The hotel has been upgraded recently. Full amenities in the room. Comfy bed. Strong shower pressure. Most importantly, a 24/7 airport shuttle that got me to the airport at 4:10 am. The employees were also very friendly and accommodating. I did not see anyone hanging out in the parking lot and the grounds were clean. If this ever was a problem, it clearly had been resolved.

‼️‼️Room was 85° in August - filthy fan offered, elevators broken, unsafe lobby, and I had to haul heavy bags to the 3rd floor despite physical limitations. Staff dismissive, zero accountability.‼️‼️||So disappointed||This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve had. We checked in late and found our room was 85°. When we asked for a fan, the one we were given was filthy, full of dirt and mold. The only other option was a giant industrial carpet dryer fan — which I reluctantly accepted because I honestly thought I might get heat stroke otherwise.||We would have left immediately, but my daughter had an early morning flight and needed the 4 a.m. shuttle, so at midnight we had no choice but to stay.||Other issues made us feel unsafe and unwelcome: a man who appeared to be homeless was loit

This hotel was the nicest in the area! The breakfast was on point, the rooms were very clean and the beds were like sleeping on clouds!
