Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alcoa (Knoxville Airport)

The hotel is convenient to Maryville, Knoxville and the attractions in the PIgeon Forge/Sevierville area. ||My room was very clean, and well appointed with everything I would need to be comfortable for an extended stay. The bedding is wonderful!!||The staff was plentiful and very helpful. The breakfast selections were adequate but remember, you have a kitchenette in your room so the options are endless.||The young lady who cares for your breakfast needs did an extremely good job presenting food items, keeping the area clean and making sure the patrons had what they needed. Kudos for a job well done!||Not a time went by as I passed the front desk did someone not speak or ask if they could help me with anything. After having the most unprofessional and painful experience from the nearby La Quinta Inn and Google redirecting me to a third party booking source who took advantage of us this hotel really turned our unfortunate night around. They worked hard to ensure we got a nice room and the breakfast was surprisingly good. When your tired and have traveled all day and encounter such an event, It leaves a impression on a person. Im glad we came here and the gentleman behind the desk in the evening worked hard to not only retrieve a hung reservation but ensured my family could finally unwind and rest. Thank you all for taking care of us. Any traveler with pets should stop here! We will book here anytime we travel in this region again.

So the hotel itself was pretty nice honestly. The clerk working the night of December 30th was very nice and gave me an upgrade! My only issue was the cleanliness of the room. I attached a photo but someone had thrown a dip pouch against the wall in the room and it was left there, that was kinda gross…

Front desk staff was super friendly! Especially the nice lady who helped check me out early. Very clean rooms. Breakfast attendant that worked Wednesday did a fabulous job with breakfast. Absolutely delicious!

We enjoyed three nights at the Alcoa Holiday Inn. The hotel appeared new or recently renovated. Everything was pleasantly decorated and inviting. Room was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit dark once the sun went down. It would help to have more lighting. The bathroom was clean and modern, but there was only one towel rack, and it was under the sink/counter. It would help to have a couple towel racks where towels would hang after use.
