Great rv park. Most sites have all hookups(water, power, septic). Most sites have a natural forest barrier between them. Park is just outside ft bragg and off hyw 1. Its far enough away from hwy-1 that you dont hear any traffic noise. There is a central shower and bathroom bldg thats was very clean. We'll be here again in the near future
We LOVE this RV park. The owners/staff so very gracious and accommodating. The sites are so very clean, spacious and private. We put out bird feeders to entertain our two Meows, and enjoyed so many birds, squirrels, and even a gray fox! There are deer grazing in the common area. We rode our bikes EVERYWHERE. The Mendocino Botanical Gardens are so close. There are wonderful multi use trails all along the coast, and in Fort Bragg. If you come with a bike, take a trip up Big River to the swimming hole. Eat at Sea Pal Cove in the port. Try and be in town for the Symphony of the Redwoods.
We loved our stay at Pomo RV Park! The grounds are beautiful, with lots of greenery and enough space between sites to feel private and peaceful. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our visit. The only small note is that we would’ve liked more hot water in the paid showers—but everything else was so well done, it’s still a full 5 stars from us. Would absolutely stay again!
Great RV Park to stay at if you want to explore the Pacific Coast off Hwy 1. Close to downtown Fort Bragg where you can enjoy local shops and dining. Campsites are nicely spaced with a feeling of being in the wilderness. Restrooms are updated and clean. Price is well worth the experience.
I would not consider this place family-friendly. One staff member (possibly the owner) seemed to enjoy berating and talking down to guests. While I understand and respect the 5 mph speed limit and other rules—and will fully admit I may have been going closer to 10 mph once—I don’t appreciate being spoken to with condescending remarks like, “Can you read?” Unfortunately, my kids were also spoken to harshly, as the 5 mph limit apparently applies to bikes too. We later learned this individual has a bit of a reputation in town for this kind of behavior. That said, the campground itself was clean and well-maintained. The laundry, bathroom, and shower facilities were also in good condition.
