Paradise Suites - Newport News/Jefferson Ave

Absolutely unacceptable experience — avoid at all costs. We made a fully prepaid reservation a Deluxe Double Room at Paradise Suites - Newport News & Jefferson Ave, for two nights. After a 4-hour drive, we arrived — only to find the office completely closed and dark. We called the number posted on the door. Someone eventually showed up from another location, acting confused and completely unprepared. Inside the dark office, he repeatedly asked for our name and confirmation number, then claimed: “There is no reservation in our system. We’re fully booked. You need to call Booking.com.” No apology, no attempt to help — just a cold dismissal. While we were outside the building contacting Booking.com, this staff member locked the door and walked away — without a word, leaving us stranded in

Checked in and as soon as I opened the room door there was a foul smell of cigarette smoke. Dead roaches on the floor by the furniture and the room was as dark as the alleyways you see in comics. Disgusting. I went back to the office within 5 minutes and immediately asked for a refund to be told he could do it, and then said they actually don’t do refunds but they do cancellations. So excuse me for believing what was advertised online and checking in.

This motel is a great getaway! It's away from foot traffic, and the guy Bhramesh should be given a gold medal for his service. My kids play with all the other kids in a safe environment! Love

Clean, Feels like home and great staff especially Howard. Howard always goes over and beyond to fix any issues even if that means him getting up as early as 12a.m. Very reliable & knowledgeable. The Management team is very helpful as well & usually responsive. Though this isn't a Hilton or Marriott or Embassy Suites.. this place does feel like home more than a vacation.. satisfaction!

This place is a dump no curtain in the bathroom,room was nasty owners are very disrespectful and very rude the rooms don't look like the pictures please don't waste your money staying at the dump I would give this place zero stars but that's not an option
