Oyster Point Inn & Suites

I booked a 2 night stay online last weekend in hopes of this being a clean welcoming hotel as it looks in the photos online. I also had my toddler with me so I really wanted this place to be decent however when I walked into the hotel entrance I was hit with a strong overwhelming paint/paint thinner odor that instantly gave me a headache & I tried to ignore it because I realized that they were doing renovations to the place, I got my key & went to my room which was pretty decent looking at first until I pulled back the bedsheets & seen long black hairs in the bed as if the bed was never cleaned & I also noticed that there were pubic hairs in the bathroom sink that was not cleaned up as well as a dirt ring in the tub. ZERO STARS!! HOTEL CATFISH ALERT!! Review of OYSTER POINT INN & SUITES: I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. It is important to note that the pictures displayed online are not up to date, which can be misleading. During my stay, I encountered some concerning situations, such as suspicious individuals who were not guests loitering around the parking lot and even on the hotel floors creating an unsafe environment. Additionally, there was a noticeable presence of construction material and trash both inside and outside the property, which was quite off-putting. The condition of the room which I was assigned was extremely disappointing. Walls had questionable "white matter" splattered on them. Checked in on August 2nd and the room is absolutely gorgeous. Room has been completely renovated. Beautiful Bedroom furniture! Even the floors are new. Only thing missing was a microwave. I'm sure that will be included again at some point. Sonia(at the front desk) is professional and friendly. Made my stay exceptional. Would definitely recommend! Oh and nice pool too if you like to swim.

I mean, for the price it’s adequate for one night, maybe two. on the travel apps I use this place has four stars across the board. Only on the Google reviews as I write this do I see it has two stars. We were so disappointed that we left a day early and simply took the loss of the $100. It just was not worth it. The room was clean-ish as far as clean sheets, and a clean bathroom. But for what I was expecting, according to the pictures it was a complete letdown. There was no breakfast as is advertised on their website. The towels were so thin, they should’ve just been thrown away. This place was advertised as 4 stars on the travel app used to reserve, I should have looked at Google because these ratings and reviews are so accurate. Dirty room, hair left from previous stay in the shower, toothpaste in the sink, the entire first floor smells like a litter box, the elevator smells like weed and our room reeked of cigarettes, all for a non smoking hotel. There is a huge pothole outside, the lawn is dirty, pool doesn't open until checkout. There were burn holes in the blankets and the hallway had dirt in front of every single door. Cheap, and decent location, but I didn't even want to shower here. Not a good place to stay!
