Opal Hotel and Suites

They would honor the fee and would NOT let me stay. And will not refund my money! ********!! Would not recommend this hotel at all!

I stayed at the hotel in the Presidential Suite on February 6th through the 8th. The night of the 7th, I was approached by the Bar Manager James asking me about my Service Dog. I had previously stayed at this hotel a number of times throughout 2025, so the staff knows my service dog very well. James said the GM was making a big deal about it, because my dog was wearing his vest. Well after a day out at Old Town, and then City Walk, where he had his vest on all day, I didn't feel the need to have his vest on at the hotel, where he is very well known and liked. I had never met the GM before, not sure if she was new or what. I went upstairs and retrieved his vest, then went to the lobby and requested to speak to the GM, so I could educate her on what the law is. Needless to say, as I was wait

The staff there from Brian (manager), front desk, hostess and comedy club staff were amazing. We had a birthday party poolside then to the comedy show and it was awesome. The resort is a little older and the elevator was out but for the price and experience they can't be beat. The pool is huge, deep (9ft) and has a beautiful water fall. This is a hidden gem for a very affordable price. I'll be back!!

Stayed Feb 13,14. Checked in, keys didn't work, back to desk. Get in room looks like it was probably nice 20yrs ago. May be in the process of updating. Pool was really nice looking, but I didn't use it. Woke up Sat morning jump in the shower ~8am... no water. THE SHOWER DOES NOT WORK. Called the front desk they say they will notify maintenance. Took a wash rag bath in the sink, left for the day. Got back to the hotel ~8:30pm still no shower call the desk. Get a "well who did you talk to"? Couldn't speak to manager was told they would not contact manager. Wouldn't switch rooms as they were sold out. Had to go look for Ice. Didn't find Ice machine on 2nd floor found one on 1st floor, but it was out of order. Went into lobby to find ice machine over hear lady saying she's the GM arguing wi

Ms.Forde went above and beyond to help my Family check in on Christmas. I had a booking glitch, as I used a third party to place the reservation. Lisa was able to clearly explain everything to me so that I was able to completely understand. Lisa is literally one of the best hotel workers ever!!! I’d give her a raise if she were an employee of mine 😊. We were able to fix our reservation correctly by adding in the additional early checkin for a small fee. Thanks so much! We definitely will be repeated life long customers of Opal Suites. I also wanted to add that the pool is clean, well kept, and has a lovely waterfall attached. FIVE STARS HIGHLY RECOMMEND -Jaime L.-
