Oceanside Inn & Suites, a Days Inn by Wyndham

Old school motor lodge of yesteryear fully remodeled in 2021. Normally I bring a travel trailer but this time I came by myself for a quick trip. I had a great stay & would stay here again. For reference Inwas in room 106 The Goods: King sized bed. Large bathroom with tub & lighted mirror. Full kitchen including stove, apartment sized larger fridge, microwave, toaster, basic pots, pans & some utensils. Ceiling fan. Dual payne windows. WiFi. Cable TV, Continental breakfast, large front window for light & breeze. Kitchen & living/bedroom roll down blackout shades with a beach scene. My room felt VERY clean. At night you can hear the ocean, 5 min walking from Glass Beach parking lot, 8 min walking to Skunk Train, Grocery/liquor store next door. You can park right in front of your room. The

Not happy with this place, only window looking at the ocean was a small frosted window in the bathroom, which had unuseable locks to keep it open, it took 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower, after running it fully open, the bed base was made of metal, in which it was a box sorta base, bumping it with your feet set off a gong type noise, no coffee pot in the room, the coffee was downstairs in the lobby and not even ready until 7:30 am, not even gonna talk about the lack of breakfast, the stairway to the upper rooms, in which we stayed, was enclosed in a darkened stair rise corridor. Dissatisfied, Disappointed....

Dirty rooms and cockroachs everywhere the office was closed never got our money back or offered to move us to a diffrent room the guy said he would make a note next time we would get a 3%discount went back 2 weeks later and the guy said we were on the do not rent list all because we told them that there was cockroachs in the room we also wrote an email to corporate and they never responded so would I recommend this hotel, sure if your looking to receive poor service and cockroach infested room. Jk I would never recommend anyone to waste their money here motel 6 is way better friendly service and no cockroachs

Positive: The plants outside and around the grounds are beautiful. It wasn’t overpriced. Negative: The neighborhood had a bunch of riff-raff walking around. Some extra outside noise.

Dump! Dark dinghy room. Scuffed up dirty floors. No coffee maker, vent in bathroom not working and hanging. The pictures on line do not represent the actual rooms or lobby. This is false advertising. I wish I would have done my research first. Any good reviews must be fake. Never again. Please rent something else. Some of the complaints go back months ago and obviously no one at Oceanside inn has fixed the problems, because they just don’t care.
