My Place Hotel-Council Bluffs, IA

I hosted my daughter’s birthday party here on 2/28/2026, and the hotel accommodated us perfectly! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They informed me about the lobby which can comfortably hold about 20 people, which was the perfect size for our gathering—not too small at all. I had about five girls at the party, and they all wanted snacks. Luckily, the hotel has a convenient store located by the front desk with reasonably priced options, which made everything so much easier. I truly can’t say enough about how amazing this place was. We had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

Positive: God value for the money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Negative: Several things did not work properly - like the electrical plugs. In fact, it seemed that several of the rooms were having electrical plug issues(?).

I made this trip with a friend, as the College World Series was on both of our bucket lists. It was a great trip made better by taking a chance on a hotel chain that I had no experience with. I took a leap of faith and booked My Place Hotel. As it turned it it was a very good choice.||This hotel is conveniently located an effortless short ride from the stadium. all the fan activities and easy parking choices. It is also located close to restaurants, a movie theater, an indoor karting track, and, if you are so inclined, casinos. ||Our room was spacious, featuring two comfortable queen-size beds, a kitchenette, and a full-size refrigerator. I am 10 toes in on this place, My Place! I honestly could not be more happy with how clean this place is. Let me tell you... Sooooo refreshing! But not even comparing this place to my other recent stays this place is hands down one of the best. One of the cleanest and one of the most organized places I've stayed at in years. I would recommend a stay here to anyone! Location is perfect, just off the interstate and just steps away from a theatre and blocks away from the casinos. And very close proximity if several restaurants and gas stations. Outside of the cleanliness and organization and the quick and easy check-in, the staff has been truly amazing. I can't reflect enough on how well treated we were during our stay. The forwardness, the knowledge, how comfortable I felt.... Was truly one

We were very happy with this hotel. Meredith at the front desk was especially helpful. After a rough stay at a hotel in Colorado, we desperately needed a quiet room. She checked the availability and placed us in a great, quiet room on the fourth floor. We have two dogs, and it was easy to take them outside. We truly needed a good night’s sleep, and Meredith made sure we were taken care of. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I wanted to highlight her friendliness and willingness to help. She even gave our dog treats upon arrival, which was a very nice touch.
