Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Council Bluffs/Omaha

The room was comfortable. The rooms are smaller than in standard hotels, which is why this is a Microtel. It is sufficient in size for 1 to 2 people. There is a window seat, which provides a sense of extra space, especially while viewing the outdoors from the comfort of our room. Our room faced away from the Interstate, and the Microtel is several blocks away from the Interstate, so it is quiet. The large screen TV worked well. The desk is directly beneath the TV. The breakfast was very good. The offerings included biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, cold cereal (raisin flakes, corn flakes, and one other cereal type), bagels and cream cheese and several other bread items, yogurt, apples and bananas, instant grits and instant oatmeal. Positive: Clean, extra room near lobby for large family groups to visit, elevator an easy steps to floor levels! Negative: Food selections for special dietary customers, no sugar free syrup, no low-fat or skim milk, hard boiled eggs (optional item), may have too many carbohydrate items for breakfast!

Room was small but comfortable and certainly clean. Loved the window seat! Breakfast was better than expected for a budget hotel and staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. The only downside was no fridge in the room which is why I rated 4 rather than 5 stars.

We spent 1 night here in a room (with one queen bed ) on the 2nd floor. Elevator worked fine. Room looked pretty much like in the photos, except our room did have a mini-fridge. The room is a little small, so if you are staying multiple-nights, you might want to consider booking one of the larger rooms at this motel. In any event, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual fare. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

This hotel was a solid decent place. The neighborhood has a lot of casinos and railway associated businesses. You need a car. Room was a bit small but price was right. Room and bathroom were clean. Nice towels. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the heater/air conditioner but I’d return.
