Well where to start. The customer service was great, the man very helpful. After reserving a room($50) I went to Dominos for pizza. Upon my arrival I gave a slice if pizza to a stray cat outside my door. He/she absolutely had no interest and walked away. So I'm one slice of pizza down. Cool. Room has a real bad body odor smell. Who ever had room **(not posting for safety reasons) for a while did not like to take advantage of the shower at all. Terrible smell. Air conditioner is very iffy. Hardly puts off cold air. Also only one pillow in the room. I did do a bed bug check and thankfully all good there. I open my shade and first thing I see is a half naked dude. First let me start by saying, that if I could rate this with zero stars, I would. This place is absolutely INFESTED with bedbugs. It is so bad, you can see them in the daytime also. They will move you to another room, but you will find bed bugs there also. Also, you will have prostitutes and derelicts knocking on your door at all hours of the night, and try to solicit you when you pull into the parking lot. On a good note, the office manager is very pleasant, and so is his family. You won't find a better group of people. When it comes to anything getting fixed however, they have no authority to fix any problems without the property owner saying ok. Got an immediate refund after opening door to room. Could immediately smell damp and mold. Flipped on the lights and the mold was only painted over and trying to come back through the paint. Mold will make you extremely ill. This place is not where you want to stay

This isn't the best motel in Jacksonville but they do have some good staff members including the housekeeper and maintenance guy. Plus the staff at the office. Drugs, prostitution yes(possibly) but it's not as bad as everyone wants to make it out to be. I have been here for like a month and a half and there hasn't been one murder. This place has a bad reputation but it's really not all that bad.
