Motel 6 Rocky Mount, NC

Last minute situation I needed to rest for a few hours before getting back on the road. I pulled over to the Motel 6 and was greeted by Lay the new owner as he was very nice. He assured I had every thing I needed. The room was nice and clean and smelled like Lysol cleaning products. It was quiet and a peaceful few hours of sleep. He even made me a personal cup of coffee and a muffin to have on the road. Very pleasant and vibrant. I can’t wait to see the final outcome of the renovation. I told him the hospitality was so nice I will be back!!!!

I recently stayed at a Motel 6, in Chicopee Ma. On the way home I stopped and stayed at a Motel 6 in Rocky Mount NC. A world of difference. The motel in Chicopee appears to have been remodeled and was nicely maintained. The Rocky Mount Motel 6 is in dire need of a paint job and some serious cleaning. They sometimes say it's the small things that matter, well in this motel it didn't appear to matter to management. I was surprised to see they didn't put complimentary shampoos or conditioners in the rooms . They sold it from behind the front desk. The bathroom door only opened about a foot and a half. It also didn't close or lock . Chairs were the most uncomfortable I've ever used . The WIFI wouldn't work, so I asked the front desk, who seemed to be having trouble with it earlier in the d

Positive: The bed was ok Negative: No chair for desk, no hand towels, the tub had a huge rust spot where you had to stand for shower.

Here as a long term tenant and have been very happy with management, they have been exceptional when it comes to making sure our stay is comfortable and our needs are met. They are working hard on remodeling as well and putting a lot into improving the motel in general. Management is very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel! The customer service was great! The lobby and food area were very clean & inviting. The rooms were clean & very peaceful while we were here as well. We're looking forward to coming back and staying longer next time. It's definitely an improvement from years ago when I would get a room here.
